The TGU in-line ultrasonic flow sensor / flow meters  are compact and can output flow rate measurement results without external circuitry.

The ultrasonic flow sensors / flow meters can be integrated into flow lines to measure very low flow rates with high precision. It can achieve 1% accuracy in the 20-100mL/min flow rate range.

Its applications include low-flow monitoring and control in medical devices, bio-processing, semi-conductor, and dosing/filling, etc.

This video shows a simple accuracy test of the TGU-012 ultrasonic in-line flow sensor. A syringe pump is used to inject water at about 48 mL/min through the sensor and tubing, and the injected water is collected by a beaker on a scale. The sensor-measured flow volume can be compared directly with the weight of the water collected, as water has a density very close to 1g/mL (0.997g/mL at 25C, to be exact).
